Kaz ran 201 using different gearing that allowed much higher top speed. He was also running a modified motor and a much larger turbo.

I suppose my biggest issue with the V-Rod is that it isn't what it's touted to be. It has an engine and gearbox that was designed by Porche and suspension by Showa, all the while screaming that it's "All American". Harley decided to make a sportier machine, a true high performance cruiser.
