Any class has at least good combinations in terms of race. Some classes like Sylvari don't actually entail any specific class being the best combo though, so I think Mesmer and Thief are definitely a stretch and moreso to fulfil the criteria of the categorisation than being lore-accurate. The latest entry in the specialization segment of Guild Wars 2, the Willbenders allow this class to equip off-hand swords, making them more mobile. Virtues in this case are focused more on movement and fire. Warrior Class. Warriors are more like soldiers in Guild Wars 2, focusing more on defending and attacking alongside each other. Personally I did Warrior first (main) and am doing Reaper (alt) now, with plans to do Dragonhunter (alt) later for map completion/achievements. They're all powerful bursty classes that offer very decent survivability through high HP, mobility, defensive traits/skills, or a combination of all of them. 1. Sockular. Mirage is a pretty strong option for solo play. Here's a sample boss solo. You could also try weaver. It has very strong damage and can sustain quite well, but it probably takes more effort to play well than most classes and if you're using sword the lack of a ranged weapon swap can limit its versatility a bit.
There are four builds that do both jobs. Shortbow ranger with traps, dragonhunter with traps, staff scourge with Wells and marks, and turret scrapper with flamethrower. I personally feel that shortbow ranger strictly outclasses dragonhunter at tagging, but people argue both ways, so I included it too. 2.
ive been away for awhile and was wondering what is the best for PVE/PVP survival wise not so much DPS. Easy : cleric scourge with axe/torch + staff ; Blood Magic, Death Magic, Scourge. Slot all minion, use staff 2 and shroud F3 on CD and you'll never die and kill everything, slowly, but still. Renegade condi and Mirage staff/staff condi are
SoftFootpaws.9134. Members. 5.2k. Posted July 15, 2022 (edited) Staff is really good on pretty much every class but Ele, but Necro staff is only super useful in competitive modes. Probably the most notorious user of staff in PvE is Mirage. Edited July 16, 2022 by Mariyuuna.6508. 1.

The easiest class to play underwater with probably the best damage will be revenant. glint, easy perma boons for power builds and several utility skills that deal good damage. swiftness too.shiro, backwards evade that grants fury and also might when traited. Riposting Shadows is very good for underwater pewpew play.

Spam 4x headshot, reflexive strike, Steal (daze, ini return and stealth), hook strike, headshot, Palm strike, impact strike and tripwire.

I voted for ranger1) you can send your pet off to fight a mob beside a node so you can harvest, run off and then swap pets to drop agro.2) traps are great, especially the spike trap that flings mobs in the air, slowing them down and interrupting them.3) rangers have good speed boosts.
The Sylvari in Ghosts of Ascalon was a Necromancer. She doesn't understand the taboos of why using your dead allies as cannon fodder is a bad thing. It works beautifully. Asura on the other hand, are noted for their cleverness and inventions --- they don't come across as a race that would be fond of necromancers. Axe/Axe Warrior, Sword/Sword Revenant, Sword/Sword Mesmer are all very strong. Sword/Sword Warrior is okay, but Torch is very strong in the off-hand. Dagger/Dagger Thief, Dagger/Dagger Elementalist, Dagger/Dagger Soulbeast, and Axe/Axe Ranger can be used, but they aren't great. r/Guildwars2. QJ9drK.
