Invisalign aligners can usually correct the shifting that occurs after treatment with braces, which is commonly referred to as relapse.
The Invisalign lab will then print out custom Invisalign First aligners for your child based on the orthodontist’s specifications. Your child will wear and change their aligners according to their treatment plan, typically wearing them for 20 to 22 hours per day and switching to a new set of aligners every one to two weeks.
Basically this means that all of the movement that was built into that tray has been expressed. This is a great sign! If you change trays too frequently and all of this movement is not achieved, then eventually some of the teeth may stop "tracking" or fitting properly in the tray. This is something that you may not feel in the next few trays

Changing aligners to the next set can interfere with the progress of your teeth. Once you go back to the previous number of aligners, your dentist can order you a replacement aligner which can be made in just a few days and send to you. This constant pressure against the teeth is the prime culprit of increased tooth sensitivity with Invisalign trays. As you change to a new aligner every 1-2 weeks, your teeth will be shifting and adjusting to the new pressures that aligner applies. This can make teeth feel extra sensitive, especially for the first 3-7 days as they acclimate.
Clean your aligner with a denture cleaner tablet. Follow the directions for dissolving the cleaner in warm water and let your aligner soak for the recommended period of time. Use cleaning crystals designed for Invisalign trays. They are available online and work the same way as denture cleansers by dissolving in water.
Answer: Changing Invisalign treatment plan. Your doctor should be able to modify your treatment if they need to as long the case gets properly transferred to their account by Invisalign.
